Mission of Burma is a short-lived band from Boston formed in 1979. They released several singles which was later collected in Signals, Marches and Calls. Their only full-length album was VS. And I have to say, I am impressed. It's a nice mixture of punk and indie music.Mission of Burma - Vs.

Mission of Burma reunited in 2002 and have been going strong ever since. They had released two more studio albums at the time of your post: 2004's ONoffON and 2006's The Obliterati. They've released two more since then: The Sound the Speed the Light (2009) and Unsound (2012). Mission of Burma are still amazing. Don't limit yourself to Vs.
