Throw - Unwavering

Throw is Al Dimalanta's project after Dead Ends. In case you don't know Dead Ends, they are a Punk/Hardcore band in the Philippines. They released 4 albums in the Twisted Red Cross label.

This is Throw's second album and it continued the what the first album has left off. Hard and fast, these two words always comes to mind whenever I play it. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed!

Thanks for your support. But this album was just released a few months ago by Counterflow Records. Don't you think it's rather unfair to them for you to put up the album for download this early in the game? The bad effect of what you are doing is that if the people of Counterflow lose their hard-earned money from free downloads like this, they will no longer release local albums. And who will be in the losing end in the long run? But I do respect Counterflow Records and that is why I allowed them to be the one to release our second album. The problem is, offering the album free for download is like depriving them of a way to get back what they spent in mass-producing the album. Believe me, they are doing this because of the sheer love for local music and not for any monetary gain. I hope you get what I mean.

I know this is a free country so you can basically do whatever you want. But you're not doing the local punk scene a real favor. In the long run, baka humina o mamatay ang eksena na naman. I do hope you understand. By the way, this is Al.
