Requests

This is a request from my contributor Terrorizer, Cluster Bomb Unit & the crust pioneer Electro Hippies. CBU's Stumpf Ist Trumpf (Power It Up) is a new release which features covers from Rudimentary Peni, Chaos UK, Discharge and Mob 47. While the other one is the from the crust pioneer Elecro Hippies, their classic Play Fast or Die which includes Run Ronald, which is a "deadication" to a popular food chain.

the electro hippies were such a great band. if i'm remembering correctly they did a live album before splitting that had a fab cover of silver machine which they did with an audience member who turned out to not know the words. brilliant. cheers fella.

yeah electro hippz have a John Peel album as well - i have seen it around the blogwaves so shouldn't be too hard to find. the cluster unit band doing covers of some of my fave bands sounds liek a good introduction to the band -which i have heard a lot about but not of.

I gotta get the Peel Session of Electro Hippies!

As for the live album, I think their last ever show was actually recorded and released as their final LP. That's after Jeff joined Carcass.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! ive been dying to get all this TRC stuff since i was reading all the reviews in MRR back in the 1980's...very rare stuff, and VERY important stuff in the HC world history. the stuff that ive heard is all real good stuff, too!! its too bad these bands never got any recognition back in those days, cos they definately deserved it.

THANK YOU!!!
