Superchunk - Incidental Music 91-95

The second post for the day is Superchunk's Incidental Music 1991-95 which is a collection of various b-sides and previously unreleased tracks by Superchunk.

A number of the tracks are covers: "100,000 Fireflies" is a song by The Magnetic Fields; "Lying in State" is a song by the Verlaines; "I'll Be Your Sister" was originally recorded by Motörhead; and "Night of Chill Blue" is a song by the Chills.

So what are you waiting for...

thanks for that post, superchunk are definitely a very underrated band, last time i saw them, they played in front of 20 people max and still they played for two hours and gave everything they had...

Superchunk are (?were) the best live band I've ever seen. Saw them first in 96 at the Garage, London with Seam. The guitars were mixed so loud that you couldn't hear anything they were singing but it was ****ing brilliant. The track "Lying in State" off this compilation evokes this gig for me.

Thanks for the interesting posts on your blog.
