Pailhead - Trait EP & I Will Refuse/No Bunny Single

Talk about unholy alliance. Pailhead is a side-project of Al Jourgensen of Ministry and Ian Mackaye of Minor Threat & Fugazi. Ian Mackaye’s straight-edge stance and Al Jourgensen’s legendary substance abuse make this collaboration really, really interesting. Posted here is their 4-song EP Trait and the No Bunny/I Will Refuse single. Yes it’s industrial but with an edge. I actually downloaded this probably a year ago and I forgot from what blog I actually snagged this gem.

Enjoy!

Classic, classic stuff! I consider this to be one of Ian's "bands" although it is rarely included in lists of his projects. This was first introduced to me in Santa Cruz skate videos in the late 80's. Awesome punk-infused industrial music.

Thanks thank you I almost forgot about this one...there were just so many talented musical excursions in those days. I think I would hear this one the radio it really was different like Jello Biafra and Canadian Punks D.O.A.trying out really long jam songs with lots of momentum.

Thank you very much for posting this. I've always been a big digger for any band Ian Mackaye has been in. Pailhead is excellent. Much appreciated.

Actually considering MacKaye's inadvertent role in the establishment of the straight edge community and Al Jourgensen's legendary drug use, it was highly unexpected for them to collaborate.
